Microperforated panels on an office building [504]

The microperforated metal sheet is an element that is experiencing a great advance in terms of application in the design of solar protections. In this case, the interesting filters of this building are colourful undulated panels. This panels can pivot 90º around a vertical axis.

As we can see in the interior pictures, the microperforation allows us to see the outside through the panels, because our brain can reconstruct the entire image from all the fragments.

On the other hand, the fact that this drilling is not adjustable, and that there is a distance between one panel and the next, might bring to a situation where (depending on the solar orientation) the protection is not effective.
