Louvered and pivoting shutters in Galata [322]

This residential building is completely enclosed in a glazed facade that combines vertical frames and other at an angle. The set looks out onto the street in a quite spectacular polygonal shape.

Solar protection is entrusted to a wooden lattice panels composed of horizontal slats. The frames pivot around its upper horizontal side allowing opening the bottom part and getting direct vision of the street.

The inside atmosphere is very comfortable in the pictures but the solution does not work very well for a low sun. Nor is it appropriate for its use in the attic.
